Prestressed Concrete Post Tension Multi Hole Round Anchorage with Wedge

Working Principle

During the prestressing process, the steel strand passes through the tapered hole of the anchor plate. When the jack applies tension, the steel strand is stretched and elastically deformed. After the tension is completed, the jack is released, and the steel strand tries to retract, driving the clip to tightly engage with the inner wall of the tapered hole of the anchor plate, and the prestress is transmitted to the anchor plate through friction, and then to the concrete component, realizing the anchoring of the prestress.

Common types

- Multi-hole wedge anchor: the most widely used, can be divided into 2-hole, 3-hole, 4-hole... 27-hole according to the number of steel strands, suitable for various prestressed concrete structures.
- Multi-hole support anchor: prestress is transferred to the anchor plate through nuts and other components, suitable for certain specific engineering scenarios.
